Hallo Ellie. How lovely to be able to see you and to hear your warm voice! You were very brave to do this, because I could see that you were still emotionally affected by the words you wrote all those years ago. I enjoyed your poem very much and I am glad that you kept your faith throughout the bad times. I am so happy that joy and peace are back in your life again. Take care.

Elizabeth, you have good voice for reading poetry. Wish you'd read a bit slower (for old people like me?--grin!)

A LOVELY poem--even in its darkness.

Yess, when I wrote as a child, it was usually of sadness...or self-pity, in my case. (UGH!)

Ellie dear it is a beautiful poem, a prayer. Yes we do write our most beautiful and poignant poems and prose from our times of sadness and loss, I know I do,to me it is a way of understanding and healing the hurt.
Love and God Bless

Hi Diane *thisisme* Thank you for calling me brave. It sure took a lot from me to put myself out there. I'm allowing myself to be led by the Spirit and possibly minister to someone through my Spoken word/poetry.

Thanks Steve! as usual funny with your self pity comment. :) Too fast? And I didn't even perform it. The pace is actually a little faster. But don't worry I'll be adding the poetry to the videos soon. And you could read it as slow as you need to. Just teasing!
